Sara Gillianne Weddings and Events is Pensacola’s original wedding planning company, established in 2003. We are lucky enough to be launching a new office in Atlanta, Georgia this year. We like to say we are peaches to sunshine and everything in between. Our approach to life and business is one in the same. We love to laugh, we love the ones around us, we are the first ones to arrive at an event and the last ones to leave, we “post” everything and live life out loud. Respecting and showing kindness to others is our number one priority and we do it with grace. We hope that you embrace this experience and enjoy every single second.
Every event is different. We want to learn about you. Your style, your personality, your interest, so that we can cultivate an event that will leave your guests knowing a little more about you and having the time of their lives.
One of the most important lessons we have learned in business is to give back. Give back in kindness, in hours, and in love. With anything you have. We have been so blessed and want to be a blessing to others. This is why we created the Pensacola Blockparty Wedding in 2010. This gave vendors a way to give back to the community and have the chance to bless one lucky couple. We are always looking for opportunities to volunteer and help our community. Feel free to reach out to us if your organization needs an extra hand.
“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourself.” Philippians 2:3

SARA GILLIANNE Owner | Principal Planner | Head Designer
Sara started her business in 2003 and has been in love with the process ever since. She is a born and raised southern lady with deep roots in Northwest Florida.
“I love a good belly laugh, a great family gathering and an amazing pair of pumps. More than that anything, I cherish my relationship with God. He has been so faithful to me and has brought me to this place where I gratefully stand right now.”
She has two amazing boys that keep her busy when she isn’t taking care of business. They are her most prized projects, learning and growing into men every day. Teaching them to love and be loved is where her heart is. They have witnessed long working hours full of tears, love, and coffee and have been able to witness first hand, what hard work gets you. She married Damien, the man of her “prayers” in March of 2016. They first met at a wedding she planned pro-bono in July of 2012.
With a grateful heart, she has had the opportunity to expand her business to Atlanta, Georgia where she is able to guide her clients and create beautiful events.
She is an advocate against child abuse and has been involved in many functions in the southeast to bring awareness. She has chaired numerous fundraising and event planning committees. She has been named Best of Coast Wedding Planner winner many years in a row and will continue that tradition on the Atlanta scene.

Leia brings a modern, clean, and eclectic style to Sara Gillianne Weddings. Her favorite part of wedding planning is being part of the most celebrated day of each couples’ lives, while witnessing true love on a daily basis.

PERRYN McLEOD Principal Planner, Designer
Perryn was born and raised here in our beautiful city.
She has been planning weddings and events for the past four years. She has truly found her passion in life with weddings. Her degree in social work began her desire to always help whomever she could. Her time in the military focused her expertise in planning and time management. But the time she spent planning her own wedding, was what truly fanned the flames and directed her to what she loves to do.
She graduated from Catholic High, and went to Saint Mary’s College IN, graduating with a degree in social work. After college, she completed five years in the US Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician. (From bombs to brides- she can handle it all!) She married the love of her life in 2011, and they moved back to their hometown shortly thereafter.
She had so much fun planning her own wedding, Perryn decided to try planning as a profession. Perryn immediately knew she had found her passion while acting as Sara’s assistant. She has a certification in wedding planning from Penn Foster, and acted as Sara’s assistant (and right hand!) for over a year. Perryn has now been a lead planner for over three years and loves building deep relationships with her clients. She is the mother of two handsome young sons, and her hobbies mainly revolve around them! She also enjoys photography, soccer, the beach and fishing.
She loves to help with military weddings, is a hopeless romantic, and a sucker for traditional weddings.
BETH HOPKINS Associate Planner
Beth is a native of the Florida Panhandle who now calls Pensacola home.
Making the choice to stay local to continue her education, Beth is currently studying Public Relations at the University of West Florida. A junior, Beth’s tenure here at Sara Gillianne began with an internship that blossomed into an Associate Planner’s position.
Using her knowledge of the area to find a venue in any clime and place, Beth has a passion for making things happen for all of her clients. Any goal that a person can set, she can help them achieve. No logistical task is too big or too small when it comes to making someone’s big day as beautiful and stress-free as possible. Beth often finds that the most rewarding part of what she does is seeing people walk from the earliest stages of planning to the end of the aisle and the start of the rest of their lives.
