This calls for a CELEBRATION!!
Sara Gillianne Weddings and Events’ founder and namesake announced last year that she would be taking her charm and expertise to the big city of Atlanta, Georgia. This move was spurred by her marriage to a true Georgia gentleman, Damien.
Now that Sara has settled into Atlanta life, as well as married life, she is ready to grow her wedding-planning business and focus on her Atlanta-area brides. While she may seem like the new kid on the block, her thirteen-year wedding planning career speaks for itself.
“Getting acclimated to the Atlanta wedding scene has me acting like a kid in a candy store!” says Sara. “I have loved getting to know other wedding vendors in the area and have received such a warm welcome to the community.”
While no one could ever replace Sara’s Pensacola “frendors,” those fellow wedding vendors turned best friends, Sara is looking forward to working alongside the best and brightest of Atlanta.
“I have been meeting with a lot of the top vendors in Atlanta and I know there are some great partnerships there waiting to happen. I love being able to share knowledge and resources whenever I can for the good of my brides.”
Sara is hopeful that her thirteen years of growth along the Gulf Coast and big ideas turned reality (need we mention the Pensacola Block Party Wedding??) will allow her to be a fresh twist on the Atlanta wedding scene.
“While I am new to Atlanta, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work on thousands of weddings over the years. I hope I can bring my own special touch to the area and grow and thrive alongside the many talented wedding vendors here.”
Sara has been working hard to get know various wedding professionals and trends in the greater Atlanta area, including letterpress professionals, photographers, venues, dress shops, and more. Her goal is to recognize the best and the brightest to spread the word through referrals to her brides and grooms.
“In this business, you are only as good as the referrals you make. Wedding planning is a packaged deal; not only do I want to recommend the best vendors to the couples I work with, but I also want to learn from and share notes with the best vendors myself!”
Sara has been enjoying stepping out of her Floridian comfort zone to expand her knowledge and experience. To speak to Sara and her team about working together, visit their website and say hello.
